Abstract


This article outlines the processes put in place to support the relationships between Munster Technological University and those external with a particular focus on validation and collaborative course developments.   It discusses the innovative approaches pioneered within the university to inform, support and develop validation with students, staff and enterprise. It gives insight into the extent of practice within the university, show casing some examples of Validation strategic partnerships and finally outlining areas for further and future development.
